但手邊沒有平常用的Jasmine Rice
只有印度香米Basmati Rice

前一個晚上先洗米,浸水十分鐘,再送去冷凍成冰。隔天先煮水,水滾後下薑片/薑絲跟結成冰的米。慢慢攪拌個15-20分鐘就好了。
Jasmine rice is not the only rice that can make congee, Basmati rice can do the job well.
A quick tip, you can have a pot of soft and creamy congee in 15min. No matter its Jasmine rice or Basmati rice, wash and soak the rice in water for 10min the night before, and freeze them for a night. The next day, boil some water and put the frozen rice into the boiling water. Keep stirring for 15-20min, the lovely congee is done!
